A fun little side project
Little Locals is my side project. It started with a problem I had myself: with a young baby at home, I kept trying to figure out what to do with them, and the information was scattered across Facebook groups, library pages and WhatsApp chats.
So I started a list of things to do around Glasthule and Dalkey, and it grew from there. It's now a free, independent guide to baby and toddler groups, playgrounds, camps, childcare and family days out in south County Dublin, and I keep it updated as I go.
It's made for fun and for the local community. Nobody pays to be listed, and there are no ads or tracking cookies.

Suggest a listing or a change
Lots of the best groups aren't online, so tips from parents make this site. Email littlelocals@tenzing.ie with:
- the name of the group, place or event
- where and when it's on
- who it suits, and what it costs
- a website or contact, if there is one
Spotted something out of date? Tap the little flag on any card to report it. Running a group, class or camp yourself? You're very welcome to send your own details.
How listings are checked
Every listing links to its official page, and suggestions are checked before they're added. Listings are re-checked regularly, but times change, especially around school holidays, so please confirm with the organiser before you go.
Schools and health services are listed factually, in their own words. Little Locals doesn't rate or recommend them. For medical advice, check with your GP, midwife or public health nurse.
Privacy
No cookies and no account needed. Visitor numbers are counted with cookie-free analytics. Your child's age and saved favourites are stored only on your own device, and "Nearest to me" only uses your location if you allow it.
If you join the mailing list, your email address is only used to send Little Locals updates. It's never shared or sold, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
